Why Town Of Code?
Town Of Code is a brand from JCoder that we started as a vehicle to help people improve their skills and either start or grow in their careers. We’re initially focused on Software Engineering/Development and Engineering Management roles.
Our cause is to reach as many people as possible and help them grow in different aspects of their careers.
We believe that everyone can benefit from training/mentoring/coaching and that everyone’s needs & goals are different.
We’re a young initiative and are currently focusing on technical skills, offering from MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) to tailored sessions for each individual.
As we grow, we aim to:
- Provide more courses and grow our team to reach more people around the world.
- Provide content in more languages.
- Focus not only on technical skills but also on management skills.
- Focus on more types of roles/disciplines required in the IT industry (e.g., QA, UX, and UI disciplines).
